George Fish of Northampton circa 1760-70, a brass faced George 3rd 8 day longcased clock in working order..original door lock, hinges, and pendulum and weights. The clock has an old invoice for repair from the 1990's, and the invoice address was from Pitsford Northamptonshire

The clock has finely ringed pillars ,brass capitals including the hood, and the original glass with tears and wrinkles . The clock is finely engraved, and is numbered 51, which is an early number, and considering that he made bracket and wall clocks as well, this example must have been among his first longcased clocks.

The backboard has been replaced with hardboard, and the plinth has obviously been cut down
