Hebe shown as a young woman, half-length in clouds, directed to left wearing a gauzy veil & a necklace, one arm around the neck of Jupiter (Zeus) in the guise of an eagle with a thunderbolt in talon.

Set within a superb Gilt frame.

Frame Condition: some minor losses to each side.

Painting Condition: Some Craquelure and discolouration throughout caused by dirt.
