The solid oak carcass case with oyster veneers which are possibly Yew. Sycamore and ebony fan inlays, barley twist columns to the short caddied hood housing a five pillar movement, although one has been pilfered over the years, this was common as the price of brass was so expensive.

The movement has an inside count-wheel striking the hours upon a single bell.

The eleven inch dial, with foliage engraved quarters, winged cherub head spandrels, silvered chapter ring,l half hour markers, engraved Markwick Londini.

Seconds subsidiary dial, engraved date aperture with finished winding arbors.

The clock comes complete with its original pendulum, key and brass cased weights.

A truly magnificent clock, which runs exceptionally well.
