P H Mourey and Japy Fils Gilt Mantel Clock C.1860

The 8 day Ormolu clock stamped Japy Fils to the backplate and also stamped for Philippe Mourey to the back of the case, Mourey was a renown metal worker of the mid 19th century.

Convex white enamel dial (with hairline cracks) and royal blue Roman numerals, pierced gilt hands,

Early outside bell return spring, striking the hours and half’s.

Original pendulum & Key

Good get real working order, may require regulating after transport.

Some loss to gilding on the front as pictured where you can see the copper colour showing through (mid case 9 & 3 o’clock)
