A important and VERY scarce Red Walnut George II/III Annual Calendar Longcase Clock by Thomlinson of Liverpool C.1760

Broken Swan neck pediment with carved Rosettes and dentil mouldings, tapered cylindrical columns above a shaped rectangular door flanked by quarter reeded columns, the base with canted corners upon bracket feet.

8 Day Hour Bell Striking movement with painted moonphase set within an Arched Brass Dial and Silvered Lunar ring with the Annual calendar engraved to the outer of the Silvered Arabic and Roman numeral Chapter ring with a Serpentine pointer and Silvered Seconds Subsidiary Dial.

The Annual calendar is a very rare feature for a Longcase with not many specimens being offered outside of collectors or museum hands.

Rare brass pendulum with beat adjustment above the brass bob has a very short trajectory, complete with original weights and key, the clock runs absolutely superb.
