Very scarce Longcase clock of the smallest proportions…

The case standing just 162cm in height is a stained pine, long narrow door with strap hinges, the pillared hood with a 5 inch glass opening to reveal the 4 and 3/4 inch (12.25cm) brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with swept date aperture and mock pendulum aperture with has an engraved back.

The verge escapement movement striking just the hours on a bell has a unusual set up of a twin train movement running for 8 days

Complete with its original short bob pendulum.

The hole to the dial plate above the date aperture one can only presume originally held the makers name plate?

The clock which is Circa 1700 possibly a touch later is in fine working order and ready to be enjoyed.
